‘Table Jaune’ is a bar installation designed for the ADAF art exhibition in Brussels in 2023. ADAF is a group exhibition featuring 105 artists based in Belgium and is held at CityGate. The exhibition takes place in a large industrial hall characterized by its robust concrete structure. The bar was commissioned by the exhibition organizers, who provided three marble table tops.

The design explores how these heavy marble elements can create the impression of floating in space. The marble surfaces rest on a central steel structure, which is tensioned between floor and ceiling using steel cables. As a result, ‘Table Jaune’ functions both as an elegant sculptural installation and as a fully operational bar.
